Item Description

Three green mana gets you a 4/4 on turn three, and that is only the starting size. Yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig is a Giant Noble that enters with four +1/+1 counters, then gets another counter every time another green creature enters under your control. If the newcomer's power is greater than Yorvo's, it gets a second counter on top, so every big threat you cast pushes the giant lord to keep pace.

The {G}{G}{G} cost tells you exactly where it belongs: mono-green or heavily green decks that want devotion, stompy creatures and a body that punishes slow starts. In Commander, Yorvo is a natural leader for a mono-green creature deck, where mana creatures, value bodies and huge finishers all feed it counters until it towers over the table.
