Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Imagine starting every combat with a free creature off the top of your deck. Web of Life and Destiny does exactly that: at the beginning of combat on your turn, you look at the top five cards of your library and may put a creature card from among them straight onto the battlefield, sending the rest to the bottom. Hit something with haste and it joins the attack that same turn.
The printed cost is eight mana, but convoke changes the math. Each creature you tap while casting it pays for one generic mana or one mana of its color, so a board of mana creatures and tokens can bring it down well ahead of schedule. That makes it a thrilling top-end card for creature-dense green Commander decks, where almost every look finds a real body and the enchantment keeps paying out every turn it stays on the table.
The name comes straight from Spider-Verse lore, where the Web of Life and Destiny is the cosmic web that ties spider-powered heroes together across the multiverse. This is the Marvel's Spider-Man printing, collector number 122, a mythic illustrated by Jonas De Ro, in non-foil.
