About this game
Nintendo EAD's jet-ski racer for Nintendo 64, published by Nintendo, stopped people cold when they first saw it running alongside the console's launch: the water rolled, crested and pushed back against your craft in a way that felt alive, setting a new benchmark for real-time physics. You weave through buoys across courses such as Dolphin Park and Drake Lake, but the game rewards those who respect the water: ride right and the waves lift you into faster lines, ride sloppy and the ocean humbles you. A stunt mode adds tricks off wave crests, two-player split screen is included, and the Kohler branding on the craft is a quiet footnote of Nintendo's early sponsorship history.
