Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on the Nintendo 64 was one of the system’s early showcase titles and remains a defining first-person shooter of the late 1990s.

Developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim Entertainment in 1997, the game blends FPS action with exploration-heavy level design set in a mysterious “Lost Land” filled with dinosaurs, alien creatures, and ancient technology.

You play as Tal’Set, a time-traveling warrior tasked with collecting Chronoscepter pieces while battling everything from raptors and pterodactyls to heavily armed mercenaries.
