Item Description

Trials Rising brings the beloved Ubisoft physics-based racing series back to its roots while cranking the spectacle up to a whole new level. As one of the most fully realized entries in the long-running franchise, it drops you onto a gleaming motorbike and challenges you to conquer increasingly absurd and punishing obstacle courses stretched across real-world inspired locations around the globe. From the Swiss Alps to the Egyptian desert, each track is a playground of ramps, gaps, and gravity-defying madness that demands precise throttle control and a whole lot of patience — in the best possible way.

What made Trials Rising a hit with fans of the series is how confidently it balances accessibility with depth. Newcomers can find their footing on the gentler early tracks, enjoying the arcade thrill of launching their rider through the air, while veterans dig into the genuinely brutal Extreme tracks that have defined the Trials identity for years. The Gold Edition sweetens the deal considerably, bundling the base game together with additional content that expands the already impressive track roster and gives you even more reasons to keep coming back for one more run.

The multiplayer component is a real highlight here. Racing head-to-head against ghost riders from around the world creates a quietly addictive competitive loop, and the University mode does a surprisingly thorough job of teaching the nuances of technique that separate a good rider from a great one. There is also a robust track editor for players who want to build and share their own diabolical courses with the community, adding virtually unlimited replay value beyond the main content.

On PlayStation 4, Trials Rising looks and feels great — the colorful, chaotic courses pop on screen, and the controls translate beautifully to the DualShock 4. It's the kind of game that hooks you for five minutes and suddenly two hours have passed, which is really the highest compliment you can pay a game in this genre.

Trials Rising Gold Edition is a perfect pick for fans of skill-based platformers and racing games, collectors building out their sealed PS4 library, and anyone who has ever loved the satisfying loop of failing spectacularly, learning, and finally clearing a course that felt impossible twenty attempts ago.
