Item Description
The U.S.S. Protostar picks up strange readings from a dying star, and before long the young crew from Star Trek: Prodigy is scattered across a planetary system on the brink of a supernova. Only Dal and Gwyn are left free to save their friends, and Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova turns that rescue mission into a cooperative action-adventure for one or two players.
The two heroes are built to complement each other. Dal leads with his phaser while Gwyn fights with her fretwork spear, and the puzzles are designed around their different talents: Dal can lift barriers so Gwyn can slip underneath, and Gwyn can create bridges for Dal to cross. Play solo and you switch between them as needed, or hand the second controller to a friend or family member for local co-op. As you rescue Jankom Pog, Rok-Tahk, Zero and Murf, the crew's own abilities join the toolkit, from Jankom's knack for hacking doors to Rok-Tahk's strength, so the puzzles grow as the team comes back together.
Standing in the way are robot armies, including the relentless Watchers, and the menacing Drednok, plus a new enemy determined to destroy the Protostar and change the course of history. The story slots in between episodes of the show's first season, and the series' voice cast returns to play their characters, which gives the banter and character moments the same warmth fans know from the series. Some of the battles can get repetitive, but the puzzle-solving teamwork is where it shines.
Developed by Tessera Studios and published by Outright Games, Supernova is aimed squarely at younger Trekkies and the families who watch Prodigy together. It is a welcoming first Star Trek game for a new generation, and a fun way to spend more time with the Protostar crew between episodes.

After the U.S.S. Protostar picks up strange readings from a dying star, Dal and Gwyn must race against time to save their friends, their ship, and an entire planetary system before a supernova destroys them all! Using their unique skills to overcome ingenious puzzles, endure hostile environments and battle deadly robot armies, Dal and Gwyn must save their captured crewmates Jankom Pog, Rok-Tahk, Zero, and Murf. But they soon encounter a deadly new enemy, one that will stop at nothing to destroy the U.S.S. Protostar and change the very course of history!
