Item Description

Soulstone Sanctuary is a colorless land with a surprise in it. It taps for one colorless mana like any utility land, but for four mana it becomes a 3/3 creature with vigilance and all creature types until end of turn, while still being a land. That last part matters: because it is every creature type at once, it counts for Elves, Zombies, Dragons and any other type your deck cares about, picking up bonuses from lords and triggering tribal payoffs.

As a land, it also dodges sorcery-speed creature removal and most board wipes, so it is a resilient threat for control decks and a reliable mana sink for the late game. Vigilance means it can attack and still stay back to block. In Commander tribal decks, a land that can become a member of your tribe whenever you need it is a quiet upgrade over a basic, and it fits any color identity.
