Item Description

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow and Dr. Eggman all crossed into Magic in Friends & Foes, the character-driven heart of the Sonic the Hedgehog Superdrop. Rather than simple art swaps, these are new cards built to capture each character's personality, and a seventh card, Super State, rounds out the drop.

The designs have real Commander hooks. Amy Rose is pitched for Equipment decks, Miles "Tails" Prower for Vehicles, and Shadow for aggressive builds that want to end games quickly. Dr. Eggman gives you a choice that feels exactly like him: make your opponents discard, or put a Construct, Robot or Vehicle from your hand straight onto the battlefield. Knuckles brings a fresh way to win, which is fitting for a character who has never done anything the easy way.

The art team reads like a Sonic fan's wish list, with Tracy Yardley, Evan Stanley, Tyler Walpole, John Thacker and Nathalie Fourdraine each taking a turn, so the whole set looks like it came straight out of the games and comics. Released in July 2025 alongside Chasing Adventure and Turbo Gear, the rainbow foil version gives heroes and villains alike the shine they deserve on a shelf or across the table.
