Item Description

Chasing Adventure takes a handful of spells Commander players reach for constantly and runs them through Sonic's world at full speed. Generous Gift, Open the Armory, Fabricate, Deadly Dispute, Unexpected Windfall and Sol Ring each get fresh Sonic-inspired artwork, joined by a new Treasure token, so a familiar engine of tutors, card draw and fast mana suddenly looks like a page torn from a Sonic comic.

That comic-book feel is no accident. The art comes from a roster that includes Tracy Yardley and Evan Stanley, names Sonic readers will recognize from years of drawing the blue blur in print, alongside Nathalie Fourdraine, Mike Burns and John Thacker. The pick of cards is smart, too: Deadly Dispute and Unexpected Windfall both churn out Treasure, Fabricate and Open the Armory go find your best artifacts and Equipment, and Sol Ring needs no introduction at any Commander table. These are cards that actually see play, so the Sonic versions are as useful in a deck as they are fun to show off.

Chasing Adventure arrived in July 2025 as part of the Sonic the Hedgehog Superdrop, alongside Friends & Foes and Turbo Gear. In rainbow foil, the bright, saturated art takes on an extra flash of speed that suits Sonic perfectly.
