Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Realm-Cloaked Giant is a board wipe and a finisher printed on the same card. Its Adventure half, Cast Off, is a five-mana sorcery that destroys all non-Giant creatures; the card then goes to exile, and later you can cast the Giant itself, a seven-mana 7/7 with vigilance, from there.
That sequencing is a dream for control decks: clear the board on turn five, then drop a huge threat into the empty space a couple of turns later without spending a second card. The non-Giant clause matters too, because Giant decks in Commander can wipe away everything else while their own big bodies stay standing. It is a clean showcase of what made Throne of Eldraine's Adventure mechanic so much fun, two spells living in one card slot.
This is the Throne of Eldraine showcase printing, collector number 277, illustrated by Alayna Danner, in non-foil, dressed in the set's storybook-style showcase frame.
