Item Description
Prince Phillip arrives as the final blow in a battle you have already been winning. SWIFT AND SURE banishes all opposing damaged characters the moment you play him, so any board you have softened up with challenges or damage effects is swept away in one stroke.
On paper he is a nine-cost Emerald Floodborn Hero with 6 strength, 6 willpower and 3 lore, but Shift 6 lets you pay just 6 ink to play him on top of one of your characters named Prince Phillip, landing that sweep a few turns earlier. Evasive means only characters with Evasive can challenge him, so once he is in play he is free to quest for a hefty 3 lore a turn while your opponent tries to rebuild. Set up the turn before by spreading damage around the opposing side, then shift him in and watch the board clear.
It is a fitting ability for the prince who faced down Maleficent's dragon form in Sleeping Beauty, and the Floodborn design makes him a big, satisfying top end for any Emerald deck running earlier Phillip characters.
This is the Ursula's Return printing, collector number 87/204, a Super Rare illustrated by Randy Bishop, offered here in non-foil.
