Item Condition
This is a brand new, factory sealed PlayStation 5 HD Camera, with its packaging unopened. Any flaw in the seal or packaging is shown in the photos. It ships carefully packed and protected.
Item Description
The PS5 made sharing part of the hardware, with a dedicated Create button on every DualSense, and the HD Camera is the piece that puts you in the picture. Sony launched it alongside the console in 2020 with dual wide-angle lenses capturing 1080p video, housed in a compact body with a built-in stand that can perch on top of a TV or sit on the shelf beneath it.
The real trick lives in the PS5's broadcast tools. With the camera connected you can appear as a picture-in-picture window while streaming to Twitch or YouTube, and the system's background removal can cut you out of your room entirely so you hover over the action. A first blind run through a horror game, a speedrun attempt or a late-night ranked session suddenly looks like a proper show, with no extra software and no webcam clipped to a monitor.
It is Sony's own camera built specifically for the PS5, which makes setup about as simple as plugging it in. If you have been meaning to start streaming, or just want your reactions on screen when friends tune in, this is the cleanest way to get there.
