Item Description
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man gets the full spotlight here. This is Peter Parker in the borderless showcase treatment by Lucas Werneck, with the art running edge to edge and no traditional border, the version of the card that looks best leading a Commander deck or anchoring a Spider-Man binder page.
The gameplay earns that attention too. On the front, Peter is a two-mana 0/1 Human Scientist Hero who brings a 2/1 green Spider token with reach along with him. Pay four mana across green, white and blue at sorcery speed and he transforms into Amazing Spider-Man, a 4/4 with vigilance and reach. From then on, each colored legendary spell you cast has web-slinging for green, white and blue, so you can cast it for that cost by returning a tapped creature you control to hand. Expensive legends come down for three mana, and the returned creature gets to re-enter for another trigger. It makes him a flexible green-white-blue commander for decks built around legendary heroes.
