Item Description
In Treasure Planet, Morph is John Silver's shape-shifting pink blob, a mischievous little pet who can mimic almost anything it sees. Lorcana turns that talent into one of the game's most flexible Shift enablers. Morph - Space Goo is a two-cost Emerald character with 2 strength, 1 willpower and 1 lore, and it is inkable, so it never clogs your hand.
Its MIMICRY ability lets you play any character with Shift on top of Morph as if Morph had any name. Normally a Floodborn character needs a base version of the same character to shift onto; Morph stands in for all of them. Play it on turn two and you have a landing pad for whichever Shift character you draw next, which lets a deck mix stories and threats freely. Its flavor text captures Silver's exasperated affection for the little troublemaker.
This is the Into the Inklands printing, collector number 81/204, illustrated by Alan Batson, in non-foil. Into the Inklands was Lorcana's third set, and this Rare made Morph an instant favorite of Shift deck-builders.
