Item Description

In the 1938 short Brave Little Tailor, Mickey brags his way into a fight with a giant and wins it anyway, and this Lorcana card turns that bravado into one of The First Chapter's biggest finishers. At eight ink, Mickey Mouse - Brave Little Tailor is a Ruby Dreamborn Hero with 5 strength, 5 willpower and a massive 4 lore.

The magic word is Evasive: only characters with Evasive can challenge him. That means your opponent usually can't remove him by challenging, and every turn he quests is four lore toward the 20 you need to win. Land him on a board your opponent can't answer with actions or Evasive characters, and the game clock suddenly runs on your terms. He is inkable too, so an early copy in hand can go into your inkwell and help you reach eight ink if the game calls for it. Ruby decks that pressure the board early get a natural top-end finisher.

This is The First Chapter printing, collector number 115/204, a Legendary rarity card illustrated by Nicholas Kole, in non-foil. Its flavor text casts him as the hero who rescues a near defeat by stitching things back together through sheer determination, a perfect tailor's pun for a card that so often closes out games. From Lorcana's 2023 debut set, it is a cornerstone of any Mickey Lorcana collection.
