Item Description
Wakanda wins by building. Wakanda Forever is the green and white precon from Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes Commander line, led by T'Challa, the Black Panther, and its game plan feels like the nation itself: patient, resource-rich and very hard to topple once the machinery is running. T'Challa rewards you for casting big artifact spells with extra mana, Vibranium tokens feed the deck's artifact count, and Shuri turns a wide board of artifacts into card draw and a team-wide power surge when she attacks.
The deck also leans on the monarch, the multiplayer mechanic that hands an extra card every turn to whoever holds the crown, which suits a deck about a royal line defending its throne. Okoye, Storm in her role as Queen of Wakanda and the Heart-Shaped Herb all turn up in the Wakandan lineup, giving Black Panther readers plenty of familiar faces and lore to recognise across the 100 cards.
The Collector's Edition is Wizards of the Coast's premium version of the precon, with the full deck printed in surge foil, so this is the version for players who want their Wakanda deck to shine at the table as much as it plays. It suits Commander players who enjoy a durable, value-building strategy, and Marvel fans who want a first precon with a clear identity and a hero worth sitting behind.
