Item Description
Linden, the Steadfast Queen asks for three white mana and rewards you for going all in on white. She is a 3/3 with vigilance, so she can attack and still stand guard, and whenever a white creature you control attacks, you gain 1 life. That includes Linden herself, and it scales with every white attacker you send, turning a wide assault of Knights, Soldiers or tokens into a steady stream of life.
The WWW cost is a real commitment, which is exactly the point: in mono-white or heavily white decks she lands on turn three as a sturdy body that makes racing you miserable. In Commander she can lead a straightforward mono-white aggro deck, where token makers, anthems and extra-combat effects multiply her trigger and life-gain payoffs turn that steady trickle into real advantage.
Linden is a queen of Eldraine's royal Kenrith family, and this is the extended-art Throne of Eldraine printing, collector number 340, illustrated by Ryan Pancoast, in non-foil, with the artwork stretched out to the card's side edges.
