Item Description
Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex, Cad Bane and Asajj Ventress all made the jump into bricks with LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, the series' first trip into the animated era that a generation of kids watched on Cartoon Network. Instead of the films, it adapts The Clone Wars movie and episodes from the show's first two seasons, following Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda and their clone troopers as the Republic battles Count Dooku, General Grievous and the droid armies.
The LEGO Star Wars foundation is all here: switching between characters to solve puzzles, Jedi using the Force to push, pull and assemble pieces, clones handling the blaster work, and a steady stream of studs and slapstick. The Clone Wars setting gives it a wider cast than earlier entries, with Separatist villains and bounty hunters filling out the roster alongside the Jedi.
The PSP release is a dedicated handheld version rather than a straight port of the console game, with its own scaled-down structure and content shaped around the PSP's controls and built for play on the go.
It is the third and last of the numbered LEGO Star Wars games, the one that turned from the films to the animated series. Fans of the show will enjoy seeing Ahsoka and Rex in LEGO form, and it pairs naturally with The Original Trilogy as the other half of LEGO Star Wars on the PSP.
