Item Description
Krenko, Mob Boss doesn't just build a Goblin army; he compounds it. Tap him and you create X 1/1 red Goblin tokens, where X is the number of Goblins you control, and he counts himself. Alone he makes one token. Next turn there are two Goblins, so you make two more, then four, then eight, and the horde roughly doubles with every activation. Give him haste and the growth starts the turn he lands.
That exponential math made the four-mana Goblin Warrior a favorite Goblin commander from the moment he debuted in Magic 2013, and he slots into any red Goblin deck as an engine that demands an immediate answer. Untap effects let him activate more than once a turn, and anthems or sacrifice payoffs turn the swarm into lethal damage in a hurry.
This is the Foundations printing, collector number 204, illustrated by Lie Setiawan, in non-foil, with flavor text in which Krenko insists, with a perfectly straight face, that he is just a legitimate businessman.
