Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Ten thousand power. That's what Jumbo Cactuar swings for every time it attacks, thanks to an ability called 10,000 Needles that gives it +9999/+0 until end of turn, a cheeky wink at Final Fantasy's classic 9,999 damage cap and the needle attacks Cactuars are famous for.
The rest of the time it's a seven-mana 1/7 Plant that walls the ground, which makes it surprisingly sturdy for a joke card. Once it connects, life totals stop mattering, so the fun is getting it through: grant trample, make it unblockable or hand it evasion, and a single attack ends a player's game. Commander tables love a card like this, a big, silly threat that every opponent has to respect the moment it attacks. Many fans know the giant needle-throwing cactus from Final Fantasy VIII's Cactuar Island, and seeing it rendered as a Magic card is pure fan service.
This is the Final Fantasy printing, collector number 343, a borderless foil illustrated by Hisashi Momose, from Magic's 2025 Final Fantasy set.
