Item Description

Irencrag Pyromancer hides a lot of damage behind a humble 0/4 body. Whenever you draw your second card each turn, it deals 3 damage to any target. On your own turn the draw step counts as the first card, so any cantrip or draw spell sets it off immediately, and on opponents' turns an instant that draws two cards does the job.

That makes it a natural fit for blue-red spells decks and Commander builds packed with draw effects, where 3 damage every turn picks off creatures, pressures planeswalkers or chips away at life totals. The 0/4 body also walls up early attackers while it works.

This is the Throne of Eldraine extended-art printing, collector number 363, illustrated by Jason Rainville, in non-foil. The extended frame trims away the side borders, giving Rainville's art the full width of the card and the Pyromancer a little more swagger.
