Item Description

Moana sets the course and Scrooge McDuck pays for the trip in the Ruby & Sapphire Starter Deck from Into the Inklands. Featuring Moana – Born Leader and Scrooge McDuck – Richest Duck in the World, this ready-to-play 60-card deck mixes Ruby's aggression with Sapphire's careful planning.

Ruby is Lorcana's fast, risk-taking ink, built around challenging and banishing opposing characters, while Sapphire focuses on ramping ink, item support and long-term value. That combination gives the deck a satisfying rhythm: build up your resources, then turn them into pressure. With heavy doses of Moana and DuckTales in the list, it is also a fun way to play with characters that have real personality on the table.

Into the Inklands is the set that introduced Locations, landscape-oriented cards that act as places your characters can move to, and Moana's island home of Motunui is one of the destinations in the set. Starting with a deck from this expansion means learning Lorcana with all its modern tools in play.

It is a strong first deck for new Illumineers, a great teaching deck for game nights, and a handy source of Ruby and Sapphire cards for players already building their own lists.
