Item Description
Spider-Man's oldest trick is vanishing at exactly the right moment, and Hide on the Ceiling turns that into a flexible blue instant. For X plus one blue mana, it exiles X target artifacts and/or creatures, and the exiled cards return to the battlefield under their owners' control at the beginning of the next end step.
That temporary exile does a surprising number of jobs. Point it at your own team in response to a board wipe or a removal spell and everything comes back safely at end of turn, also retriggering any enter-the-battlefield abilities. On your turn, exile an opponent's blockers and swing through an open board; on theirs, remove attackers before they connect. Tokens exiled this way never come back, so it is outright removal against token armies, and because everything returns under its owner's control, it can even recover something an opponent has stolen.
This is the Marvel's Spider-Man printing, collector number 249, an extended-art rare illustrated by Fariba Khamseh, offered in foil. The flavor text finds Aunt May wondering whether she just heard Peter moving around upstairs, a playful wink at the card's name.
