Item Description
Name a creature type, draw a card for every permanent you control of that type. On a board of Elves, Merfolk or Faeries that is easily five, six or more cards from a single instant, and convoke means the creatures you are counting can help pay for it. Tapping them to cast the spell does not shrink the count, so a wide board can cover most or all of the cost and still draw the full amount.
That combination makes it a superb refuel spell for typal decks. Cast it at the end of an opponent's turn, untap with a full hand, and keep deploying the tribe. Lorwyn has always been Magic's home for creature types, and the card's flavor text captures the plane's spirit in one line: "A song can unite quicker than a sword can divide." Tyler Walpole's extended-art version stretches the illustration out to the card's edges for a fuller, more immersive look.
This is the Lorwyn Eclipsed extended-art printing, collector number 357, a rare illustrated by Tyler Walpole, offered here in non-foil.
