Item Description

Of all the Seven Dwarfs, Grumpy is the one you would least expect to volunteer for knighthood, which is what makes this Dreamborn version so charming. Grumpy - Skeptical Knight reimagines the famously cranky dwarf from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as a reluctant hero in armor, ready for a fight even if he would rather complain about it.

In play, he is a three-cost Steel character with 3 strength, 1 willpower and 1 lore, and he is inkable. Burst of Speed gives him Evasive during your turn, so he can challenge those slippery Evasive characters that most Steel decks struggle to reach, and his 3 strength is enough to knock out many of them. Boon of Resilience supports a whole knightly squad: while one of your Knight characters is at a location, that character gains Resist +2, reducing damage dealt to it by 2. That makes him a natural fit for Steel decks that hold locations with Knight characters.
