Item Condition
This is the Goomba amiibo from Nintendo's Super Mario series, brand new and factory sealed. Any flaw in the seal or packaging is shown in the photos. It ships carefully packed and protected.
Item Description
Every Mario adventure needs a first obstacle, and ever since World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros. that job has usually gone to the Goomba, the scowling little mushroom shuffling straight toward you. It was a late addition to that game, created because the team wanted a simpler first enemy than the Koopa Troopa, and one well-timed jump has been teaching players how stomping works ever since.
Nintendo gave the Goomba its own figure in the Super Mario amiibo line in October 2017, just weeks before Super Mario Odyssey let Mario capture Goombas and stack them into wobbling towers. The heavy brows and stubby feet that have defined the character for decades translate perfectly to a figure, and Nintendo's own tagline sums up its charm: one jump's usually enough to take them out.
On a shelf it makes the ideal foot soldier for a Mario amiibo display, lined up beneath the heroes and villains as the enemy that started it all. In Super Mario Odyssey, amiibo outside the game's featured trio can be scanned for Power Moon hints from Uncle amiibo.
