Item Description

The Foot Clan never travels alone, and Foot Chopper shows up with its own ninja attached. When this two-mana black Equipment enters, it creates a 1/1 black Ninja creature token and attaches itself to it. The equipped creature has flying, and whenever it deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it to draw cards equal to its power.

That gives you a choice every time it connects. Keep a flying ninja around to chip in damage, or move the Equipment onto a bigger creature for {2}, slip it through the air, and cash it in for a handful of cards. A flying 1/1 is also a perfect enabler for ninjutsu, and the Ninja token fits right into Ninja-themed Commander decks led by the likes of Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. Sacrifice-themed decks get an evasive body that turns into card draw.

This is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Eternal printing, collector number 17, a rare illustrated by Adrián Rodríguez Pérez, offered here in non-foil. It is a great way to bring Shredder's army to the battlefield in a TMNT-themed deck.
