Item Description
Dragonologist is the scholar every Dragon deck wants on staff. When this three-mana 1/3 Human Wizard enters, you look at the top six cards of your library and may reveal an instant, sorcery or Dragon card and put it into your hand, putting the rest on the bottom in a random order. That's a strong hit rate for spell-heavy decks and Dragon decks alike, and it smooths the early turns while you wait for the big threats.
Its second ability is the real prize: untapped Dragons you control have hexproof. Your dragons are shielded from targeted removal on opponents' turns, and any Dragon with vigilance keeps that protection even while attacking. For a Dragon tribal Commander deck, a cheap body that both finds and protects your dragons is exactly the kind of support that keeps the engine alive.
