Fifteen years after Corvo Attano restored her to the throne, Empress Emily Kaldwin loses it in a single afternoon. Delilah Copperspoon, a witch claiming to be the rightful heir, seizes power in Dunwall, and Dishonored 2 lets you decide who escapes to fight back: Emily herself, or Corvo, her Royal Protector and father. That first choice shapes everything, because each brings a distinct set of supernatural powers and a voice of their own to the story.
Arkane Studios moved the action south to Karnaca, a sunbaked coastal city on the island of Serkonos, full of wind-driven machinery, gang-run districts and bloodfly infestations. It is a stunning setting, and the level design is Arkane at its very best. Kirin Jindosh's Clockwork Mansion reshapes itself with the pull of a lever, rooms rotating and walls sliding away to expose the machinery behind them. A Crack in the Slab hands you a device for flicking between a ruined manor and the same house years earlier. The Dust District hides the fiendish Jindosh Riddle, a logic puzzle players famously swap solutions for.
Powers turn every mission into a sandbox. Corvo returns with Blink, Possession, Bend Time and Devouring Swarm, while Emily brings Far Reach, Doppelganger, Shadow Walk and Domino, which links enemies so that whatever happens to one happens to all. Bone charms can be crafted to fine-tune a build, and you can even refuse the Outsider's mark entirely and play with no powers at all. Lethal or merciful, seen or silent, the Chaos system tracks how you play and shifts the world and its ending to match.
Critics praised it as a sequel that refined nearly everything about the 2012 original, and it is widely counted among the finest immersive sims ever made. Stephen Russell gives Corvo a voice for the first time, and Erica Luttrell plays Emily with a sharp, determined edge. On PS4, Dishonored 2 is a game built for replays, the rare stealth adventure where a second run as the other character feels like a new story in the same beautifully crafted city.

About the game
Dishonored 2 is a first-person action video game and the sequel to Dishonored. It borrows many of the gameplay elements from the first opus: players define their own play style by blending action, assassination, stealth, mobility and combat. Combining tools at their disposal, players are allowed options to eliminate enemies, whether they choose to pursue them unseen or ruthlessly attack head on. Dishonored 2 features the same campaign style as its predecessor in which the protagonist must advance through a series of missions.
