Item Description:
Released in 1999 by Capcom and directed by Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil), Dino Crisis is a survival horror classic that swaps out zombies for deadly dinosaurs. Set on a remote research facility, players take on the role of Regina, a special forces operative who must investigate a mysterious outbreak and survive against raptors, T-Rex encounters, and other prehistoric threats.

The game’s “panic horror” design philosophy emphasized speed and unpredictability, making enemies more aggressive and intelligent compared to Resident Evil. Players must manage limited resources, solve puzzles, and navigate tense environments while facing the constant threat of being hunted. With its blend of survival horror and fast-paced action, Dino Crisis carved out a legacy all its own, often described as “Resident Evil with dinosaurs.”

For collectors, Dino Crisis is one of the most sought-after survival horror titles on the PlayStation. It launched a beloved franchise that continues to have a loyal fanbase, and whispers of a modern revival have only heightened interest in the original. A complete copy like this is a cornerstone addition for PS1 collectors and an essential piece of Capcom’s golden era of horror game design.
