Item Description
Throne of Eldraine gave each of its five courtly realms a castle, and each one is a basic-land substitute with a built-in mana sink. Castle Embereth, the red one, enters tapped unless you control a Mountain and taps for red. When you have three mana to spare, one generic and two red, you can tap it to give every creature you control +1/+0 until end of turn.
That is a team-wide pump stapled to a land, and red aggro players love it for a simple reason: it turns late-game land draws into extra damage. A board of small attackers suddenly hits for several more points, and because it lives in your mana base it costs no spell slot. Token decks, Goblin swarms and anything else that goes wide get the most from it. The plan is simple and strong: declare a wide attack, see what your opponent blocks, then crack the Castle before damage.
This is the Throne of Eldraine extended-art printing, collector number 387, a non-foil rare illustrated by Jaime Jones, with the artwork stretched past the usual frame edges in place of the regular version's flavor text.
