Item Description

According to his flavor text, every cat in the Multiverse, kitten and lion alike, can trace its family tree back to him. Arahbo has been the patron spirit of Magic's Cat decks since he led a Commander 2017 precon as Arahbo, Roar of the World, and Foundations brings him back as the First Fang, a cheaper and scrappier take on the same legend.

For three mana, Arahbo is a 2/2 Cat Avatar that gives your other Cats +1/+1. Whenever he or another nontoken Cat enters under your control, you create a 1/1 white Cat token, so he makes a kitten the moment he lands, and every Cat you cast afterward brings another one along, each instantly a 2/2 under his anthem. That is a lot of board for an early play, and it gives white Cat decks a go-wide engine that keeps growing as the game goes on.

In Commander he can lead a Cat deck himself or serve as the anthem in a list led by another feline. This is the Foundations printing, collector number 2, a non-foil rare illustrated by Simon Dominic.
