Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Think of Anticausal Vestige as an Eldrazi that pays you to get rid of it. Whenever it leaves the battlefield, by any route, you draw a card and may put a permanent card from your hand onto the battlefield tapped, as long as its mana value is no greater than the number of lands you control.
Edge of Eternities gives it warp, which is where the fun starts. For four mana instead of six, you cast it, collect the leave trigger when it is exiled at the next end step, and then recast it from exile on a later turn as a full 7/5. That is a card, a free permanent and a huge body from one card, and an opponent's removal spell only repeats the trick. Big permanents in hand become far easier to deploy once you have enough lands, which makes it a strong fit for ramp decks.
This is the Edge of Eternities printing, collector number 1, a foil rare illustrated by Chase Stone. Being colorless, it fits any Commander deck, and it gives the set's cosmic-horror Eldrazi a strong showing at the very front of the collector-number list.
