Item Description
Few things in the Sword & Shield era felt as explosive as a VSTAR Power, and Zeraora's is a lightning storm in the most literal sense. Lightning Storm Star lets you choose your opponent's Pokémon four times and puts 60 damage on each pick, damage that ignores Weakness and Resistance. Spread it across four Benched threats, or stack all 240 onto a single target. Like every VSTAR Power it can be used only once per game, so picking the moment is half the fun.
The rest of the card hits hard too. Zeraora VSTAR evolves from Zeraora V and carries 270 HP, and its Crushing Beat attack swings for 190 with three Energy while letting you discard a Stadium in play, a handy way to wipe away a field effect that is working against you. Zeraora, the Generation VII Mythical with a sleek feline frame and lightning-streaked fur, has always looked built for speed, and this card plays like it.
This is the Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery printing, GG43/GG70, a full-art foil illustrated by Ligton. Crown Zenith arrived in early 2023 as the closing special set of the Sword & Shield era, and its 70-card Galarian Gallery subset gave that era a last showcase of full-art cards, with this Zeraora as one of its electric highlights.
