Item Description

Acknowledge him or not, Roman Reigns is the face of WWE 2K25, and the whole game is built around the family standing behind him. This year's 2K Showcase, The Bloodline's Dynasty, is hosted by Paul Heyman and traces the Anoa'i family's long run through WWE, with names like Yokozuna, The Rock, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu among those featured. You can relive classic bouts, change the outcome of some of them, and step into dream matches that throw Bloodline members against other Superstars and Legends. Hearing Heyman frame it all gives the mode the feel of a documentary you get to wrestle your way through.

Visual Concepts also gave plenty of attention to what happens between the ropes. Chain wrestling returns, bringing back the grappling give-and-take that makes the opening minutes of a match feel like a real broadcast, and Superstars can now dive off the barricade at opponents on the floor. Three match types join the card: the Underground Match, the Bloodline Rules Match and intergender matches. Promo cutting returns to Universe mode, and the new NXT parking lot gives backstage brawls a fresh place to spill out.

Beyond the Showcase, the long-running modes are where a wrestling game earns its hours. Universe mode puts you in charge of every show, feud and title picture on the calendar, and MyGM, the booking-and-management mode where you compete for ratings against rival brands, was expanded in this edition with online multiplayer support. With 2K promising a roster of more than 300 playable characters, the fantasy cards practically book themselves, from present-day main eventers to Legends from decades past.

WWE 2K25 arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 in July 2025, bringing the series' Bloodline year to Nintendo's new console. It is a game made for a crowded couch, where a four-way match can turn into an argument about who really won, and it works just as well as a solo booking project you return to show after show. As a snapshot of WWE at the height of the Bloodline era, it captures a story that defined years of television.
