Item Description
Few lands hide a surprise as well as Windbrisk Heights. When Windbrisk Heights enters, tapped, its hideaway 4 lets you look at the top four cards of your library and exile one face down, putting the rest on the bottom. It taps for white mana, and for one white mana and a tap you may play the hidden card without paying its mana cost, as long as you attacked with three or more creatures this turn.
The fun is in what you stash. A board wipe, a giant threat or a finisher waits face down while your opponents try to guess, and once your team of three or more attackers has swung, you cast it for free. White token and go-wide Commander decks meet that requirement almost every turn, and because the effect lives on a land, you get a free spell without giving up a single nonland slot.
The card first appeared in Lorwyn and has been a favorite tool for aggressive white decks ever since. This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 436, illustrated by Tomohito, in foil.
