Magic: The Gathering single: Wall of Omens, from Masterpiece Series: Double Masters 2022 Borderless. Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Dan Frazier painted some of the most famous cards in Magic's earliest sets, including the original Moxen, so seeing his work on a modern borderless frame feels like a handshake across the game's history. This Wall of Omens from Double Masters 2022 pairs his art with short, ominous flavor text: “What will be has always been.”
The card is a quiet workhorse. For {1}{W} you get a 0/4 Wall with defender that draws a card when it enters, which means it stalls early aggression and replaces itself in the same motion. Control players have leaned on it since Rise of the Eldrazi, cube drafters treat it as a reliable early pick, and in Commander it shines in flicker decks where every blink draws another card. It is the kind of card that makes a deck smoother without ever demanding attention, and this borderless version gives it some well-earned flair.
This is the Double Masters 2022 borderless printing, collector number 344, illustrated by Dan Frazier, in foil.
