Item Description
Every attempt to interact with Voice of Resurgence costs your opponent something. A 2/2 for two, this two-mana green and white Elemental leaves a token behind whenever an opponent casts a spell during your turn and when it dies. That token's power and toughness are each equal to the number of creatures you control, so it grows alongside your board.
That simple pair of triggers puts opponents in a lose-lose position. Counterspells, removal and combat tricks cast during your turn create a token for you, and killing the Voice creates another. The card debuted in Dragon's Maze as a Selesnya mythic, and it still gives token and creature decks in Commander a two-drop that keeps paying off as the board fills up.
