Item Description

Tyranitar has been crushing opponents since Pokémon Gold and Silver, and this Pokémon V captures that sheer weight. It is a Basic Darkness Pokémon V with a massive 230 HP and the Single Strike style, so it hits the table ready to fight without waiting on an evolution line.

Its two attacks reward bold play. Cragalanche, for one Darkness and two Colorless Energy, deals 60 damage and discards the top 2 cards of your opponent's deck, chipping away at their resources. Single Strike Crush, for two Darkness and two Colorless Energy, deals a huge 240 damage at the cost of discarding the top 4 cards of your own deck, enough to knock out many big Basic Pokémon V in a single swing. As a Pokémon V it gives up 2 Prize cards when Knocked Out, so the trade is all about landing that big hit first. It is a fun, aggressive pick for anyone building around Single Strike.
