Item Description
Four power is printed on Tifa, Martial Artist, but the number that matters is seven. Her melee ability gives her +1/+1 for each opponent you attacked this combat, so in a four-player game, sending attackers at all three opponents makes her a 7/7 by herself. And whenever one or more creatures you control with power 7 or greater deal combat damage to a player, you untap all your creatures, and if it's your first combat phase, you get an additional combat phase after it.
That second combat is where things get out of hand. Your team untaps and swings again, melee triggers again, and Equipment, pump spells and naturally huge creatures in her red-green-white colors all help clear the seven-power bar. She's a natural commander for Naya Voltron and big-creature decks that want to turn one good attack into two.
Final Fantasy VII fans will recognize the martial artist who fights with her fists, and this card's double-combat engine suits a fighter known for relentless combos. This is the Final Fantasy Commander printing, collector number 6, a mythic illustrated by Yumi Yaoshida, in non-foil, from the Commander decks released alongside Magic's 2025 Final Fantasy set.
