Item Description
A mythic-rarity Thrill of Possibility sounds like a contradiction until you see what the Marvel Universe collection did with it. This printing, collector number 28, is a borderless, full-art card illustrated by David Rapoza, offered here in non-foil, and it trades the usual frame for comic-book artwork that runs edge to edge. Released in September 2025 alongside Magic's Marvel crossover, it lets a Marvel fan put a bit of that universe into a deck without changing what the slot does.
And what the slot does is excellent. For two mana, at instant speed, you discard a card and draw two. Pitch an extra land late or a clunky spell early and your hand gets sharper every time. In graveyard decks the discard becomes an asset, feeding flashback, madness, reanimation and every card that rewards you for discarding, which is why the spell turns up in so many red Commander lists.
Few cards let a Marvel binder and a working red deck share the same card this comfortably. It's cheap, flexible, played constantly, and in this version it looks like it belongs on a comic rack.
