Item Description

Few Trainer cards have survived as long as Switch. It was in the original Base Set, and its job hasn't changed since: switch your Active Pokémon with one of your Benched Pokémon. That one line rescues a Pokémon stuck with a heavy retreat cost, escapes a Special Condition, or brings the right attacker forward at exactly the right moment.

Because it is so simple, Switch has been a deck-building staple across the game's eras, a card players reach for to set up knockouts and take control of the pace of a match. A flashy version of a card you actually play is always welcome, and few cards earn that treatment better.

This is the Phantasmal Flames special print, number 123/094, an Ultra Rare version numbered beyond the set's main run. It gives one of the game's most familiar Trainers a premium presentation, a satisfying upgrade for a Mega Evolution-era deck or a highlight in a Phantasmal Flames binder.
