Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Every game has its in-jokes, and in Magic the oldest bird in the punchline is Storm Crow. A plain 1/2 flier for two mana, it has been playfully hyped as an unstoppable powerhouse by the community for years precisely because it is so ordinary, and its fan following has outlasted countless cards that were actually strong.
The card itself keeps things simple: one generic and one blue mana for a Bird with flying and nothing else to remember. That simplicity is the charm. It slots into a Bird-themed casual deck, a cube that celebrates Magic's history, or a meme deck assembled entirely from cards the players have turned into legends. It first appeared back in Alliances and has kept flapping through reprints ever since, a small blue survivor of nearly every era of the game.
This is the Secret Lair Drop printing, collector number 60, illustrated by Jesper Ejsing, in foil. Ejsing's lively creature art gives the meme bird a fresh look worthy of its reputation, and the foil finish turns it into a fitting trophy for every player who has ever named Storm Crow as their favorite card with a straight face.
