Item Description

Five years after Fallen Order, Cal Kestis is no longer a frightened Padawan hiding in a scrapyard. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor he is a battle-hardened Jedi Knight waging a lonely guerrilla war against the Empire, and the game opens on Coruscant with Cal in the middle of a mission that goes very wrong. From that first sequence, Respawn's sequel is bigger, darker and more confident than the game that introduced him.

The lightsaber combat is the heart of it, and Survivor gives Cal five stances to choose from: the classic single blade, the double-bladed saber, dual wielding, a crossguard style built for heavy, deliberate strikes and a blaster stance that pairs a saber with a pistol. You equip two at a time and switch on the fly, layering Force pulls, pushes and slows on top. Parrying still matters, rest points let you level up and heal at the cost of respawning enemies, and boss fights demand patterns learned the hard way, giving the action a satisfying edge without losing its Star Wars swagger.

Much of the adventure orbits Koboh, a wild frontier planet built around the outpost of Rambler's Reach, where Pyloon's Saloon fills up with allies, merchants and oddballs as you recruit them across the galaxy. BD-1 is back on Cal's shoulder, the Mantis crew of Greez, Cere and the Nightsister Merrin returns, and a new ally, Bode Akuna, joins the fight. The story digs into a lost secret from the High Republic era, the hidden planet Tanalorr, and the long-buried Jedi Dagan Gera, while Stephen Barton and Gordy Haab's score carries the whole thing with real cinematic sweep. Tameable mounts and wide-open areas make exploration feel freer than before.

Directed by Stig Asmussen, Survivor first launched on PS5 in 2023, and its PS4 version followed in September 2024, bringing Cal's second adventure to last-generation consoles. That late PS4 release is a neat piece of the platform's final years, and if Fallen Order made you care about Cal and his crew, this is where their story finds its emotional center.

About the game

The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?

Fair prices, quick shipping, and even put both my games in protectors which is awesome. But they shipped in a box and didn’t fill the empty space, allowing the games to shake up and down so one disc came off the spindle but I was unsealing it anyways. Security ring has a nice ding in it but it installed and runs so it’s fine
