Magic: The Gathering single: Secluded Courtyard, from Promo Pack: Kamigawa Neon Dynasty. Our grade: Near Mint. Pictured: this printing of the card. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader.
Item Description
Tribal decks live and die by their mana, and Secluded Courtyard is built to keep them alive. As it enters, you name a creature type. From then on it can tap for colorless mana for anything, or for one mana of any color as long as you spend it on a creature spell of the chosen type or an activated ability of a creature of that type.
That second clause is what makes it special. Elves, Goblins, Dragons, Slivers, Wizards: whatever your Commander deck is built around, Courtyard becomes a rainbow land for exactly the cards you most want to cast, and it even pays for your creatures' activated abilities. It is a refined take on Ixalan's Unclaimed Territory, and it pairs naturally with other type-matters lands for kindred decks that run three, four or five colors without stumbling on their mana.
This is the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Promo Pack printing, in non-foil. Promo Pack cards were handed out through participating stores during the Neon Dynasty release, which makes this a fun alternate copy of a land that kindred players reach for again and again.
