RPG Maker WITH is the toolkit for actually building it on a PlayStation 5, published by NIS America and developed by Gotcha Gotcha Games, the current home of the long-running RPG Maker series.
No programming knowledge is required. You lay out towns, dungeons and world maps from tilesets, design characters and enemies, set up the turn-based battles, and use the event system to script cutscenes, treasure chests, branching conversations and the switches and puzzles that make a world feel alive. The interface is designed for a controller rather than a mouse and keyboard, which makes it a far more approachable way into game-making than a PC engine for someone who has never touched one. Included assets in the classic 16-bit-inspired fantasy style mean you can start building immediately, before you ever worry about original art.
The RPG Maker name carries real history. The series began in Japan decades ago and has had a long run on PC and console, including PlayStation releases that let a whole generation tinker with their own adventures.
