This is a factory-sealed Pokémon TCG Rival Battle Deck [Steven], unopened and sealed as released by the publisher. Any flaw in the seal or packaging is shown in the photos. It ships carefully packed and protected.

Item Description

Steven Stone has always been the trainer with a pocket full of rare stones and a Metagross at his side, and the Steven Rival Battle Deck builds a complete 60-card strategy around that partnership. Steven's Beldum, Steven's Metang and Steven's Metagross ex form the evolution line at the center of the deck, with Rare Candy ready to vault straight from Beldum to the heavy-hitting Stage 2 ex.

The supporting cast reflects Steven's love of steel and stone: Steven's Skarmory, Steven's Baltoy and Steven's Claydol, and Steven's Carbink fill out the bench, while a mix of Psychic and Metal Energy powers the team. On the Trainer side you get real tournament staples to learn with, including Professor's Research, Iono, Boss's Orders, Ultra Ball and Buddy-Buddy Poffin. Even the Stadium is a wink to longtime fans: Granite Cave, the cave near Dewford Town where players first tracked Steven down in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Trainer's Pokémon cards like Steven's Metagross ex revive an idea collectors have loved since the Gym Heroes era, when cards like Brock's Onix first put a trainer's name on the card. Released in May 2025 alongside a Marnie Rival Battle Deck, Steven's side of the rivalry gives a newer player a coherent, evolution-driven deck to pilot from the first game, and gives Hoenn fans a fitting tribute to the champion who made Metagross a legend.
