Item Description
Few recent Pokémon sets have caused a frenzy like Prismatic Evolutions. Released on January 17, 2025 as a Scarlet & Violet special set, it is a full celebration of Eevee and all eight of its evolutions, with Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon appearing as shimmering Tera Pokémon ex. The Umbreon ex Special Illustration Rare became the set's most talked-about chase almost overnight.
The set also borrows a favorite collector touch from Japan: special reverse holo patterns featuring Poké Ball and Master Ball designs. Those patterned cards turn even the commons and uncommons into something worth sorting carefully, which is part of why opening Prismatic Evolutions feels so different from a standard expansion. Every pack is a chance to see a new Eeveelution in a new style.
Because Prismatic Evolutions was released as a special set without traditional booster boxes, the Elite Trainer Box became the flagship way to open it. It is built for a satisfying opening session and then for play, so the Eeveelutions you pull can go straight into a deck.
