Item Description
Zekrom has always been the Pokémon of ideals, the jet-black dragon on the cover of Pokémon Black, and Black Bolt hands it the spotlight. Released on July 18, 2025 alongside its twin set, White Flare, this Scarlet & Violet expansion is a love letter to the Unova region, packed with Pokémon from the Black and White era and introducing a rarity built just for the occasion: the Black White Rare.
Those Black White Rares are the headline chase, with Zekrom ex and Victini getting the treatment in this set. The Special Illustration Rare lineup leans hard into Unova favorites too, including Serperior ex, Genesect ex, Kyurem ex, Meloetta ex and Excadrill ex, plus an N's Plan trainer card that will make anyone who remembers N's story in the games smile. It is a set that rewards people who spent 2011 exploring Castelia City and battling Team Plasma.
An Elite Trainer Box is the classic way to experience a set like this, built for opening packs and then turning the best pulls into a deck. Zekrom ex gives players an electric centerpiece to build around, and the Black Bolt box art makes a striking shelf partner for its White Flare counterpart.
