Item Description
Darkrai has haunted Pokémon fans' dreams since Pokémon Diamond & Pearl, and Pitch Black finally gives the Pitch-Black Pokémon its Mega moment in the trading card game. Mega Darkrai ex is the face of this fifth Mega Evolution expansion, and the Elite Trainer Box is the full-size way to explore its shadowy world.
Pitch Black released worldwide on July 17, 2026, adapting Japan's Abyss Eye expansion into 120 cards with 36 secret rares. Its chase is led by a gold Mega Darkrai ex Mega Hyper Rare and a Mega Darkrai ex Special Illustration Rare illustrated by Akira Egawa, with further Special Illustration Rares of Mega Zeraora ex, Mega Chandelure ex, Morpeko ex, Gladion's Final Battle and Gwynn. Mega Delphox ex and Mega Slowbro ex join the English release as well, giving players six Mega Pokémon ex to build around. Each one brings huge HP and hits hard, but surrenders three Prize cards when knocked out, which keeps every game on a knife's edge.
